The galvanized steel sheet according to the present invention is manufactured by bringing the plating surface of the galvanized steel sheet into contact with a water solution containing 0.1 wt% or more of a borate of alkaline metal, and then drying the steel sheet by heating within a temperature range of 60 to 400°C. The friction coefficient of the galvanized steel sheet of the invention is 80% or less of the friction coefficient obtained without the existence of the inorganic compound on the metallic galvanized layer and the amount of insoluble slimes of the inorganic compound left after water washing or alkali degreasing is less than 1 mg/m².<img id="ia01" file="imga0001.tif" wi="178" he="100" img-content="drawing" img-format="tif" /></p>
<search-report-data id="srep" srep-office="EP" date-produced="" lang=""><doc-page id="srep0001" file="srep0001.tif" type="tif" orientation="portrait" he="297" wi="210" /></search-report-data></ep-patent-document>
