[0001] This patent has for object a device for collecting and discharging bars in cross
particularly transfer plate for rolling plants in hot condition with fixed receiving
channels with movable closures.
[0002] The innovation finds particular even if not exclusive application downwards of the
rolling plants in hot conditions to receive and to stop the coming bars from longitudinal
advancement after cutting in length and deviation by means of shunter on parallel
ways (channels) and successively their discharge on a respective cooling plate for
consequent displacement in cross sense of the cited type in the Italian patent application
n.83413A/89 of the 1 st June 89 in the name of the same applicant.
[0003] To the actual situation of the technique are known different devices for collecting
and discharging the bars in plate, the same are complicated and expensive, present
a high wear grade and have speed limits for important masses in movement involving
consistent particular masses to be moved. In many cases the entire structure of the
channels is put into movement E.g. Rotary Channels or oscillating, while in other
cases the extraction means with fixed channel are complex and strand easily.
[0004] All however do not allow to treat different types, of section bars sensitively different.
[0005] Particularly for big section bars it is preferable to utilize sky open channels while
for small section bars it is preferable to utilize closed channels and this for the
evident reason that the bars of small section (few millimeters) will deform easily
and necessitate to be driven more.
[0006] Scope of the present invention is to obviate to the above-mentioned drawbacks.
[0007] This and other scopes are reached with the present innovation according to characteristics
of the annexed claims solving the exposed problems by means of a Device for collecting
and discharging bars in cross transfer plate particularly for rolling plants in hot
conditions with channels of fixed receiving with movable closures, characterized in
that it includes at least two sectors with upper on which channel of receiving bars
having at least one couple of channels open for each side and each of them disposed
to grading, with orientation toward a cross transfer plate with close-channel-means
to upper tilted plane, movable in forward and backward inside drive canes, overflowing
and disappearing over and under or in alignment with said channels that allows the
sliding of bars by said channels toward said plate; in order to raise the close-channel-means
realizing channels of closed receiving for the bars through a lateral wall of said
close-channel-means and to their lowering the respective tilted plane of the close-channel-means
are possible the lateral sliding of the respective bars toward the cooling plate,
and in which under said upper channels there are further open channels laterally to
"C" that can be activated alternatively to the previous for the receiving of bars
by means of variation of the excursion stroke of forward and backward of said close-channel-means
to tilted plane.
[0008] In such way we realize a system of discharging bars which is simple reliable and
universal and able to treat bars in different sections.
[0009] These and other advantages will appear by the specified successive preferential solutions
description of realization with the help of the included drawings which particulars
of execution are not to be considered limitative but only exemplificative. Figure
1 represents a schematic view in cross section of a device according to invention.
[0010] Making reference to the figure it is disclosed that the invention regards a device
for collecting and discharging bars (1) in cross transfer plate (6-7) particularly
for rolling plants in hot conditions with channels of fixed receiving with movable
closures, characterized in that it includes at least two sectors (1,16) with upper
on which channel of receiving bars (11,13) having at least one couple of channels
open on each side for each of them (14-15) disposed to grading, with orientation toward
a cross transfer plate (6-7) with close-channel-means to upper tilted plane, movable
in forward and backward (4-5) inside drive canes (12-17), overflowing and disappearing
over and under or in alignment with said channels (11-13) that allows the sliding
of bars (3) by said channels (11/14-13/15) toward said plate (6-7); in order to to
raise the close-channel-means (4-5) realizes channels of closed receiving for the
bars (3) through a lateral wall of said close-channel-means (4-5) and to their rebate
the respective tilted plane of the close-channel-means are possible the lateral sliding
of the respective bar (3) toward the cooling plate (6-7), and in which under said
upper channels (11-13) there are further open channels laterally to "C" (14-15) that
can be activated alternatively to the previous for the receiving of bars (31) by means
of variation of the excursion stroke of forward and backward of said close-channel-means
to tilted plane (4-5).
[0011] The alternating motion adjustable in the excursion (41-42/51-52) can be made with
any means of the prior art.
[0012] The functioning happens as follows:
The bars 3 run alternatively in the upper open channels 11-13 (when are big) or in
the lower channels (when are small) while the close-channel-means (4-5) are raised
to cover the slide broadside.
[0013] When the bars have stopped, in the longitudinal slippage along the respective channels,
the close-channel is lowered aligning itself with the tilted upper level on the basis
of the respective channel and the corresponding bars slide in the tilted plane toward
the cooling plate (6-7).
[0014] In function of the type of bars we operate with the work positions of excursion a-b
or b-c.

for the bars (3) through a lateral wall of said close-channel-means (4-5) and the
lowering of the respective tilted plane of the close-channel-means is possible the
lateral sliding I of the respective bar (3) toward the cooling plate (6-7), and in
which under said upper channels (11-13) there are further "C" shaped laterally open
channels (14-15) that can be activated alternatively to the previous for the receiving
of bars (31) by means of variation of the excursion stroke of forward and backward
of said close-channel-means in a tilted position (4-5).

- scroll inside drive jackets (12-17);
- are moved alternatively from stems (41-51) associated with oscillating delay arms
(42-52).
