    (54) Automated apparatus for parking cars


    (57) The apparatus comprises longitudinal and trans- vers guides, defining an annular route for a plurality of platforms (6) disposed in two rows (1,2) side by side. One of the row is full, and the other one has a free space for a platform. The platforms are moved along the annular route in either direction, through a series of lateral and longitudinal translations the platforms, so as to bring either an empty platform, in phase of parking a car, or a platform bearing the car desired, in phase of taking the car back, at a loading-unloading station.
