Carrier for developing electrostatic image |
(57) A carrier suitable for developing an electrostatic image which comprises core particles
coated with a layer comprising fluorocarbon particles and porous resin particles;
wherein the porous resin particles are composed of a plurality of elementary resin
particles fused together at the surfaces thereof, the elementary resin particles having:
(a) a particle size of not more than 0.5 µm;
(b) a BET specific surface area of from 5 to 150 m²/g; and
(c) a volume average particle size of from 1.5 to 5.0 µm.
