Handle for manual cleaning tools |
(57) The device comprises a resin connector(1) with a cylindrical seat(2) for retaining
the end of a hollow metal handle(3) in order to cover and protect the end edge of
the handle, the handle-end surrounding the axially extending central portion(4) of
the connector which forms the inside wall of said cylindrical seat.

|
[0001] The invention relates to a handle, in metal sheathed draw piece, for manual cleaning
devices characterized by the fact that the lower terminal part is integrated in the
screwing threaded part of the tool with a volute seat.
[0002] For cleaning operations in general and particularly for sweeping, washing, treating
surface with different goods, for cleaning floors, walls, glass- walls or windows
and other, manual devices of different kinds are currently used to steer by means
of a stock handle. In general on the lower end of this cylindrical handle a larger
diameter resin connector with outgetting screwed part is fitted by insertion for mounting
the tool. Consequently the handle end, in a free approach, beats on the intermediate
crown foreseen between the above axial part, which is embodied in the handle end,
and the above mentioned screwed fitting part of the tool. This causes two inconveniences:
an intrinsic structural fragility, since the means underlies to cutting strains, and
causes a precarious binding of the cylindrical metal part to the resin connector,
since the parts are freely coupled, which leads to handle break through wear or to
release of the components owing to their deformation. Moreover, since the means uses
a handle in sheathed metal profile, its beating disposition in a free approach on
the said crown does not enable to cover imperfections and curling up of the covering
sheath. These inconveniences are obviated by the system according to the invention
which foresees a different connecting system for the handle, in sheathed metal profile
to the mounting threaded part, which ensures a solidary working binding condition,
by integrating these parts by embodying them, and carries out sealing of the sheath
border covering the metal profile part of the handle.
[0003] Substantially the invention uses a resin joint 1 with a cylindric seat 2 for containing
under pressure the handle end 3 in sheathed metal profile, which in an analogous way
contains the cylindrical axial part 4 which forms the inside wall of the above cylindrical
seat 2. This combined connecting system, through an integration of its components,
determines a solidarily operating binding condition of the resin joint 1 with the
handle in sheathed metal profile 3 and covers and protects the covering sheath.
[0004] An execution form of the invention is illustrated in a merely indicative way in the
drawings of Table 1. With reference to this table, fig. 1 is the view in longitudinal
section of the handle end part with a tool 5 fitted on it. The double clutch integration
of the joint 1 can be seen with handle 3 and the mounting condition on handle of the
tool 5 carried out by screwing the threaded part of the joint 1 in its volute seat
6. Fig. 2 is the perspective section view of the handle end with components 1 and
3. Fig. 3 is the partial view of a possible cleaning tool, with a dashed view of its
handle 3 which penetrates into joint 1, whereas its axial part of the joint penetrates
into the same handle.
[0005] In the realization, the components, their shape, the material and anything else may
be foreseen in different ways according to the use requirements.
1. Handle for manual cleaning tools, characterized by the fact that a resin joint
(1) is used with a cylindrical seat (2) for containing under pressure the handle end
(3), in sheathed metal profile, which in an analogous way contains the cylindrical
axial part (4) forming the inside part of the said cylindrical seat (2). This combined
dutch system, by integration of the components, determines a solidarily operating
binding condition of the resin joint (1) with the handle (3), in sheathed metal profile,
and covers and protects the covering sheath on border.
