Coated article, its use and method of making the same |
(57) An article for use in high temperature corrosive environments is protected by successive
coatings. The coatings comprise
i) a first coating of one or more metals or alloys,
ii) an optional second coating of a mixture of one or more ceramics and one or more
metals or alloys,
iii) a third coating of one or more ceramics, and
iv) a fourth coating of one or more precious metals or alloys thereof, the fourth
coating being substantially non-porous.
