Heat sensitive recording material |
(57) A heat sensitive recording material having a heat sensitive recording layer formed
on the front surface of a substrate and containing a colorless or light-colored basic
dye and a color acceptor capable of forming a color on contact with the dye, and an
adhesive layer formed on the rear surface of the substrate, the heat sensitive recording
material being characterized in that a barrier layer comprising a polyvinyl alcohol
having a saponification degree of 80 to 90 mole %, and a pigment is provided between
the substrate and the adhesive layer.
