Thermal transfer printing receiver sheet |
(57) A thermal transfer printing receiver sheet comprises a substrate supporting a dye-receiving
layer on its surface, characterised in that the main constituent of the dye-receiving
layer is a copolyester in which the acid component comprises at least one alicyclic
dicarboxylic acid, and the alcohol component comprises at least one alicyclic diol.
Such receivers enable a printed sheet with an image of high quality, having a superior
balance of properties with respect to optical density, light fastness, storage stability
and finger print resistance, to be obtained.
