    (54) Method for processing silver halide color photographic light sensitive materials


    (57) A method for processing a silver halide color photograhic light-sensitive material comprises processing the photographic material with a solution having a fixing ability and, in succession, processing the same directly with a stabilizer without carrying out a washing step, and the method is characterized in that the photographic material contains at least one of two-equivalent couplers; that the processing solution having fixing ability contains ammonium ions in an amount of 50 mol% of the whole cations contained therein; and that the stabilizer does not contains any formaldehyde substantially, but contains a compound represented by the following formula I or II:
