Refrigeration lubricants |
(57) A lubricant comprising as a main component an ester (s) obtained by reacting (a)
at least one polyvalent alcohol selected from the group consisting of pentaerythritol,
dipentaerythritol and tripentaerythritol with (b) at least one straight chain or branched-chain
monovalent saturated fatty acid having a carbon number of 2-18.
This lubricant is used for compressors using a hydrofluorocarbon refrigerant containing
no chlorine.
