Linear viscoelastic aqueous liquid detergent composition, especially for automatic
dishwashers |
(57) A linear viscoelastic aqueous liquid automatic dishwasher detergent composition comprising
water, up to 2% by weight of a long chain fatty acid anionic moiety, from 0.005 to
0.2 of a compound having the formula R₁COOX wherein x is selected from the group consisting
of hydrogen and alkali metal cation and R₁ is selected from the group consisting of
phenyl groups, substitute phenyl groups and a C₁-C₂₂ alkyl group with the proviso
that R₁COOX is a liquid at room temperature when R is a C₁ - C₂₂ alkyl group, and
mixtures thereof, from 0 to 5% by weight of a chlorine bleach stable, water dispersible
or soluble organic detergent, from about 5 to 40% by weight of at least one alkali
metal tripolyphosphate, up to about 20% by weight of a chlorine bleach compound, and
0.1 to 10 weight percent of at least one branched crosslinked polycarboxylate-type
thickening agent having a molecular weight of at least 1,000,000.
