    (57) A mobile record medium playing and displaying system which, while an automobile is traveling, operates to perform a desired piece of music in a predetermined area and display data on service facilities available in the area automatically. The current position of the automobile is detected by a global positioning system using a plurality of satellites. With such a mobile record medium playing and displaying system, additional informations as to service facilities which are available at the predetermined ares can be obtained visually and audibly
