An FeGaSi-based magnetic material with Ir as an additive |
(57) A magnetic material comprised of FeIrGaSi, containing Ir at a concentration of 1.0
to 4.0 atomic percent, has improved high-frequency permeability and wear resistance
and an elevated Curie temperature. Furthermore, FeIrGaSi has a uniaxial anistropy
property of several Oersteds induced by magnetic annealing of sputtered FeIrGaSi in
thin film form at temperatures between 350 and 600°C.
