Method and apparatus for manipulating duration of a physical audio signal, and a storage
medium containing a representation of such physical audio signal |
(57) A method is described for manipulating an audio equivalent signal through positioning
of mutually overlapping time windows. These are displaced with respect to each other
over an actual pitch period length, and multiplied by a window function. Systematic
repeating, suppressing, and maintaining of segment signals will accommodate the signal
to an intended overall length.
