(57) This invention relates to a rotatable bobbin holder (9) with adjustable braking, which can be set to the correct value for the particular sliver unwinding from the suspended bobbin, said bobbin holder comprising two cylindrical members (3,6) slidable one inside the other, and both mounted about the pin (1) which rotatably supports one of the known bobbin locking lever systems.
Said cylindrical members (3,6), one upper and the other lower, are coupled to a rotatable braking disc (15) against which a spring (4) presses with a thrust which can be varied to achieve adjustable braking in the rotatable connection between the support rail of the known creel and the underlying bobbin of wound sliver.
