    (54) Tamper evident container closure


    (57) A tamper evident closure for a container has a seal member (14) which is in a concave or convex condition to show closure integrity. The seal (14) is visible through an opening (13) in the cover (10) of the container. Filling the container under pressure which is higher or lower than atmospheric produces the distention or contraction of the seal member (14) that evidences that no tampering or leakage has occurred.
