    (57) A shade construction comprising a pleated shade member which expands to close an opening.
    The pleated shade member (39) is fixed between two parallel bars and is operated by cords (3,4) that pass through the pleated shade, pass over a series of pulleys (32,33,37) and are fixed at the edge of the screen (34).
