(57) A lever device allows to control the two movements that gas adjusting taps applied
to hobs or cookers are required to make, and namely the axial lowering shifting of
the control rod, needed to unlock the tap and to open the safety valve if it is the
case, as well as the rotation movement to adjust the gas flow. This is achieved by
taking the tap control away from the burners, so as to make the operating of the taps
easier and safer, by means of a lever provided with a slot through which the control
rod passes, with a transverse seat for the lowering and two planes parallel to the
engagement axis for the rotation. Said slot is included between an outer operating
end and an inner one suitable to react against the lower horizontal surface, along
which it slides, of a protecting plane of the lever itself.
