    (54) Sheet transport path switching device for an image forming apparatus


    (57) A device incorporated in an image forming apparatus for switching the path for transporting a sheet. The device is capable of surely steering sheets to any of a plurality of transport paths even when the sheets are continuously fed at an extremely short interval for high speed image formation.
