A method of image formation |
(57) A method of image formation is provided, wherein a recording material is subjected
to imagewise heating substantially in the absence of water and a base or precursor
thereof, wherein the recording material comprises a support having coated thereon
a 1,3-sulfur-nitrogen-containing compound capable of being cleaved in the presence
of a silver ion or silver complex ion, an organic silver salt and a thermal solvent,
and wherein the 1,3-sulfur-nitrogen-containing compound is represented by the following
formula.
