    (54) Process for producing support for lithographic printing plates


    (57) A process for producing a support for lithographic printing plates is disclosed. The process comprises contacting a rough surface with the surface of an aluminum plate under pressure to transfer the roughness onto the surface of the aluminum plate, wherein the transferring is repeatedly carried out at least 3 times.
