    (54) Cellulose-based, inflammable, bulky processed sheets and method for making such sheets


    (57) Bulky processed sheets which are obtained from mixtures of crosslinked pulp, thermally fusible fibers and binders are described. The sheets may be embossed by hot pressing them in wet state and are treated with flame retardants. The bulky sheets which may be embossed or are treated with retardants have wide utility in various fields and especially as interior materials.
