<p id="p0001" num="0001">Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zum Reinigen von Gegenständen gemäß Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.</p>
<p id="p0002" num="0002">Ein gattungsgemäßes Verfahren ist bekannt aus der nicht vorveröffentlichten deutschen Patentanmeldung P 43 09 096 (vgl. auch EP-A-0 608 700).</p>
<p id="p0003" num="0003">Zu reinigende Gegenstände, im vorliegenden Falle insbesondere solche aus Stahl, werden in einem Reinigungsbad durch Eintauchen, gegebenenfalls mit Ultraschallunterstützung, einem Reinigungsvorgang unterzogen, und anschließend in einem ersten wäßrigen Spülbad vom Reinigungsbad befreit. Wegen der in das erste Spülbad eingeschleppten Verunreinigungen ist zur einwandfreien Spülung ein zweites Spülbad empfehlenswert, an das sich ein Trocknungsvorgang anschließt.</p>
<p id="p0004" num="0004">Insbesondere bei Stahlgegenständen, aber auch bei anderen Metallen wie z.B. Aluminium besteht aufgrund der Wasserreste auf dem Material während des Trocknungsvorganges die Gefahr eines Anfluges von Korrosion.</p>
<p id="p0005" num="0005">Diese Korrosion erweist sich insbesondere dann als problematisch, wenn die getrockneten Gegenstände weiterverarbeitet werden sollen, beispielsweise indem eine Beschichtung vorgesehen werden soll.<!-- EPO <DP n="2"> --></p>
<p id="p0006" num="0006">Der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt das Problem zugrunde, das Risiko einer Korrosion herabzusetzen.</p>
<p id="p0007" num="0007">Die Aufgabe wird gelöst durch ein Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 1.</p>
<p id="p0008" num="0008">Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, dem letzten Spülbad einen Zusatz eines Gemisches aus Propylenglykolmethylether und Propylenglykolether hinzuzugeben. Überraschenderweise hat sich erwiesen, daß unter einem Zusatz eines derartigen Glycoläthergemisches dieser angegebenen Zusammensetzung das Abfließverhalten des Wassers von den aus dem Wasser entnommenen Gegenständen erheblich verbessert, das Wasser fließt vorhangartig ab. Zugleich bildet sich offensichtlich ein filmartiger Überzug, der für einen begrenzten Zeitraum von etwa 24 Stunden einen wirksamen Schutz gegen Oxidation und dementsprechende Korrosion bietet.</p>
<p id="p0009" num="0009">Das letzte Spülbad besteht, um Fleckenbildung zu verhindern, aus voll entsalztem Wasser (VE-Wasser). Das erwähnte Glykoläthergemisch wird in einer Konzentration von etwa 10 Gewichtsprozent bis 50 Gewichtsprozent dem VE-Wasser zugesetzt.</p>
<p id="p0010" num="0010">Als besonders geeignet haben sich als Propylenglykolmethylether ein Propylenglykolmonoethylether der Formel
<chemistry id="chem0001" num="0001"><img id="ib0001" file="imgb0001.tif" wi="62" he="21" img-content="chem" img-format="tif"/></chemistry> und als Propylenglykolether ein Propylenglykol-n-Butylether der Formel<!-- EPO <DP n="3"> -->
<chemistry id="chem0002" num="0002"><img id="ib0002" file="imgb0002.tif" wi="131" he="28" img-content="chem" img-format="tif"/></chemistry> erwiesen.</p>
<heading id="h0001">Beispiel 1:</heading>
<p id="p0011" num="0011">Zu reinigende Metallteile aus Stahl werden in einem Reinigungsbad aus Glykoläthern behandelt und anschließend in einem ersten wäßrigen Bad von den Rückständen des Reinigungsbades gesäubert. Um eine vollständige Entfernung der Reinigungsbadrückstände, auch der, die in das erste Spülbad verschleppt wurden, zu erzielen, werden die Teile in einem zweiten Bad aus voll entsalztem Wasser gespült und anschließend in einem Warmluftstrom getrocknet. Die Trocknungszeit beträgt etwa drei Minuten, sie ist stark von der Temperatur des Warmluftstromes und der Luftgeschwindigkeit abhängig.</p>
<p id="p0012" num="0012">Bereits unmittelbar nach der Trocknung ist mit bloßem Auge ein Anflug von Rost erkennbar.</p>
<heading id="h0002">Beispiel 2:</heading>
<p id="p0013" num="0013">Die gleichen Metallteile wie in Beispiel 1 werden in dem gleichen Reinigungsbad behandelt und ebenfalls im ersten Spülbad von den Rückständen gesäubert. Dem zweiten Spülbad<!-- EPO <DP n="4"> --> jedoch ist ein Gemisch von Propylenglykolmonoethylether der Formel

<chemistry id="chem0004" num="0004"><img id="ib0004" file="imgb0004.tif" wi="122" he="25" img-content="chem" img-format="tif"/></chemistry> in Anteilen von 80 Gew.% Propylenglykolmonoethylether und 20 Gew.% Propylenglykol-n-Butylether zugesetzt.</p>
<p id="p0014" num="0014">Durch ein vorhangartiges Ablaufen des Spülbades von den nach dem Spülen entnommenen Gegenständen konnte die Trocknungszeit um 50 % reduziert werden. Auch nach 24 Stunden zeigte sich auch bei sorgfältiger Prüfung immer noch kein Korrosionsanflug, innerhalb dieser Zeit konnten somit die getrockneten Teile ohne weitere Schutzmaßnahmen weiterverarbeitet, z.B. beschichtet werden.</p>
