(57) Lubricants and additive concentrates comprising: (a) a dispersant made by reacting
aminoguanidine and/or a basic salt thereof with an acyclic hydrocarbyl succinic acylating
agent in a mole ratio of 0.4:1 to 1.3:1, respectively; (b) a zinc dihydrocarbyl dithiophosphate
in which at least 35 mol percent of the hydrocarbyl groups are secondary hydrocarbyl
groups; and (c) a basic calcium detergent additive complement exhibit excellent performance
characteristics.
