    Description

[0001] The invention is for a printed sheet of paper or other material capable of being written upon on which jottings and notes can be made quickly and comprehensibly, so that particular sections of text can be located more easily and with greater speed, in order to enable these sections of text to be learnt or memorised and recalled more quickly.

[0002] From the FR-A-89817 is known a work sheet for use in bookkeeping machines. This sheet is divided over the entire width of the page in vertical columns of different colour and in the shape of bars without lines and in which are placed several data.

[0003] Also from the FR-A-1.007.737 is known a sheet for use in bookkeeping, divided in columns over the entire width of the page and in which are placed several numerical data.

[0004] It is clear that both sheets are not suitable for making and arranging notes during courses and seminars with the purpose to understand better the structure of the course. In order to make this possible and according to the primary characteristic of the invention, a sheet of paper or of other material as described in claim 1 and in the description given below has been realized.

[0005] Thanks to this, it is possible to start the various subdivisions of a text on a different vertical line of the sheet, so that the taking down of notes or jottings is facilitated and can thus proceed more quickly. Also the noted text becomes more comprehensible, it is easier to locate specific sections of the text and it becomes possible to read through or study specific sections of the text and to remember them more quickly and efficiently.

[0006] By way of example a more detailed description is given without in any way being exhaustive in the following of a preferred but in no way limited embodiment of a printed sheet of paper in accordance with the invention. This description refers to the attached drawing where :

    fig. 1 illustrates an unwritten printed sheet of paper in accordance with the invention;

fig. 2 illustrates a written printed sheet of paper.

[0007] The drawing shows a ruled sheet of paper 1 but which could also be squared paper. On the lefthand side of the paper there are four broad vertical lines, numbered respectively 2-3-4 and 5 applied with a space between them and which have the same colour but where the hue of each line is different, and where the lines are arranged so that the darkest line is the furthest to the left and the lightest line is the furthest to the right.

[0008] It goes without saying that the lines can be any colour, have any shape and dimensions whatsoever and moreover the number of lines may differ. The lines can moreover be formed from any marks whatsoever such as dots, dashes or others. Moreover it is also possible to arrange the lines so that the lightest line is the furthest to the left and the darkest line is the furthest to the right. The various lines 2-3-4 and 5 may also be in different colours. Finally the sheets may be loose, or take the form of a pad or notebook.

[0009] A sheet of paper divided up in this way makes it possible to start the various subdivisions of a text on a different line so that the taking down of notes or jottings is facilitated and can thus proceed more quickly. Another advantage is that the text becomes more comprehensible and it is easier to locate specific sections of the text. As a result it becomes possible to read through or study specific sections of the text and to remember them more quickly and efficiently.

[0010] In order to make it easier to locate a particular page and to keep the pages in the right order, each page is by preference provided with a square 6 of a particular colour in the top righthand corner, which colour will by preference be the colour of lines 2-3-4-5. The page number is written in this square.

[0011] It goes without saying that instead of a square use could also be made of another delineated space of any shape, size, or colour whatsoever which could be located in any position whatsoever on the page.

    Claims

    2. Sheet according to claim 1, characterized in that the vertical lines are spaced from one another.

    3. Sheet according to claim 1, characterized in that the vertical lines have all the same specific width.

    4. Sheet according to claim 1, characterized in that the darkest of said vertical lines is arranged closest to said left-hand edge and the lightest of said vertical lines furthest from the left-hand edge.

    5. Sheet according to claim 1, characterized in that the lightest of said vertical lines is arranged closest to the left-hand edge and the darkest of said vertical lines furthest from the left-hand edge.

    6. Sheet according to claim 1, characterized in that the vertical lines are composed of dots or dashes.

    7. Sheet according to claim 1, characterized in that the sheet is provided with a delineated space (6) for marking the page number.

    8. Sheet according to claim 7, characterized in that the delineated space is a square applied in the upper right-hand corner of the sheet.

    9. Sheet according to claim 8, characterized in that the square has the same hue as one of the vertical lines.
