Microemulsion all purpose liquid cleaning compositions |
(57) An improvement is described in microemulsion compositions which is more environmentally
friendly, especially effective in the removal of oily and greasy soil and has an evidenced
grease release effect, contains an anionic detergent, an esterfied ethoxylated glycerol
type compound, a hydrocarbon ingredient, and water which comprises the use of a water-insoluble
odoriferous perfume as the essential hydrocarbon ingredient in a proportion sufficient
to form either a dilute o/w microemulsion composition containing, by weight, 0.1%
to 6% of an anionic detergent, 0 to 16% of a nonionic surfactant, 0.1 to 50% of a
cosurfactant, 0.1% to 20% of the esterfied ethoxylated glycerol type compound, 0.4%
to 10% of perfume or a hydrocarbon and the balance being water.
