(54) Vacuum cleaner rotating nozzle


(57) A universal rotary suction head (1000) for a vacuum cleaner suitable for universally effectively used for cleaning of either a hard floor or of a soft-carpeted floor is disclosed. The suction head has a rotary cleaning plate (100) and a stationary cleaning plate (200) received in the center opening of the rotary cleaning plate. A cleaning condition control ring (300) for selecting a cleaning condition of the suction head in accordance with conditions of a floor is placed on the stationary cleaning plate and vertically movable relative to the stationary cleaning plate, thus to make the bottom of the suction head contacting with or separated from the floor. The vertical position of the cleaning condition control ring relative to the stationary cleaning plate is controlled by the position control ring (400). An air guide panel (500) for guiding dirt-laden air in the suction head to the auxiliary pipe is fixed to the top cover. The top cover covers the top of the suction head.
