(54) Electrophotographic copying apparatus

(57) The invention relates to an electrophotographic copying apparatus which transfers a toner image formed on a photosensitive drum (22) to a transfer-fixing film (27) having heat resistance and electric conductivity. This transfer-fixing film (27) is interposed between a heat-generating element (6) and a booklet (21). The transfer-fixing film (27) and the heat-generating element (6) are biased so that the toner image is transferred and fixed onto the booklet (21) by heat of the heat-generating element (6). The heat-generating element (6) is designed to be movable to come toward and away from a recording surface of the booklet (21), or a force of pressing the heat-generating element (6) is changed in accordance with a printing position of the booklet (21). Thus, the booklet having a thickness which varies corresponding to pages to be recorded can be printed highly accurately.
