(57) A structure useful to reduce the ballistic capacity of projectiles shot towards protected targets, which comprises a panel (10) including an elastically deformable laminate matrix (11), which supports a plurality of rigid elements (12) located in the front part of said panel, said elements constituting means for absorbing the energy of the incident projectiles and for unstabilizing them in response to the impact of said projectiles on said elements and the elastic deformation of said matrix.
