A toy having movable portion |
(57) The invention relates to the provision of a toy which has at least one portion which
is movable in relation to another portion. The problem with known devices of this
type is that if they include actuation means in the form of a spring the force of
the spring when moving the portion is uncontrolled and can cause injury to the child
playing with the toy upon release of the spring and portion. The present invention
provides a moving arrangement which can utilise the actions of a spring, if required,
but in conjunction with a mechanism and guide means which control the actuating force,
prevents jamming of the portions and allows toys to have safely movable portions.
