(57) The present invention is concerned with the technical sector of operating devices and relates in particular to an electronic device for operating locks whereby different locks are activated by means of a single chip-card having stored on it a plurality of different identification codes relating to different locks, which, in combination with a processing device and a chip-card reader, via mutual interaction during which the correspondence of a sequence of functional steps is verified, actuates opening or closing of the locks themselves, depending on said correspondence.
