Boosters for high contrast silver halide imaging elements |
(57) Boosters for high contrast negative-acting silver halide emulsions comprising hydrazine
derivatives. The boosters comprise a polyoxyethylene chain terminated at one or both
ends by a group comprising a benzyl alcohol or a diaylcarbinol functionality. Compounds
having at least 8 carbon atoms in the polyoxyethylene chain are novel.
