BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present specification concerns a model of utility referring to an improved multiuse
letter-envelope, the evident purpose of which is to allow it to be used as a postal
dispatch, having a message incorporated inside, with possibility of effecting, also,
in the same dispatch, an answering area, allowing it to be written thru a computer,
relying on a simplified closing method and the incorporation of appropiate address
labels, and being capable of being used in every paper sizes considered as appropiate.
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0002] This invention has an application in the industry field devoted to the manufacture
of envelopes and similar.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0003] The improved multiuse letter-envelope as proposed by the invention, constitutes per
se an evident novelty within the area in which it is incorporated, since starting
from same, it is possible to rely on an element which is capable of being used as
a letter and, at the same time, as an envelope, and even as an answering sending,
which can be manufactured with any type of material and sizes as it would be appropiately
convenient, such as, generally paper, and being used conventional machines for its
manufacturing, and being used, also, for performing manual texts.
[0004] In a more definite way, the improved multiuse letter-envelope as proposed by the
invention is constituted starting from four perforated transverse strips.
[0005] Three out of the four perforated transverse strips are of identical size, generally
about a half a centimeter high, and located at the lower part of a sheet, and two
longitudinal strips, one at each side, in a vertical position having a same width.
[0006] When appropiate, these transverse strips will expedite the - opening of the multiuse
envelope by the addressee.
[0007] The fourth strip, situated at the upper part, is markedly wider, and its function
is to be used as an incorporation area of the addressee's address.
[0008] This fourth strip, by tearing or sticking on the window of the envelope, saves at
maximum the paper, either folding it in an opposite sense for coinciding with the
typical window, or, lastly, for being used at the area corresponding to an envelope
with no window.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0009] In order to complement this descripcion and aid to a better understanding of the
characteristics of the invention, the appending drawings, which are a part of this
specification, show, by way of illustrative and non-limiting sense, the following
figures:
Figure 1 shows a perspective view of a continuous paper sheet improved multiuse letter-envelope
module, showing the beginning of the rear side and the final of the front side.
Figure 2 shows the object folded of Fig. 1.
Figure 3 shows a perspective view of the object of the invention in an optional embodiment.
Figure 4 is a view of the folded object, shown in Fig. 3.
Figure 5 is a perspective view of a possible optional illustration of the object shown
in the preceding figures.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
[0010] From Figures 1 and 2, it can be seen that the improved multiuse letter-envelope is
constituted starting from a sheet of paper fitted with longitudinal side strips (2)
having perforations in order to facilitate the drag of a printing machine; these strips
can be eliminated after performing the letter printing thru longitudinal precutting
lines, there being a transverse precutting or scoring line (4), separating the body
of each of the multiuse letters located in a continuous way.
[0011] In each improved multiuse letter-envelope or module (1), there are transverse lines
(4) delimiting rectangular areas in the module or sectors, three of the sectors being
similar, and the fourth one (8) being markedly smaller, being perforated and glued
since its function is to be used in a half as a label, and once this has been cut
and glued internally on the window, the address of the own label will be externally
visible.
[0012] Figure 2 shows the manner in which the improved multiuse letter-envelope can be used
with no window, since a half the smaller size sector (8) is intended for incorporating
the label, and the other half non used can be used for incorporating the sender's
address.
[0013] The whole area (8) is to be fitted with a glue or adhesive film on its rear side.
[0014] The address is to be glued on the exterior of the envelope at the height to be occupated
by the window, and the sender's name on the rear side of the envelope.
[0015] The closing of the improved multiuse letter-envelope is completed by means of glued
strips (3) and (9), acting for this purpose.
[0016] In short, the invention contemplates a continuous paper sheet separated by means
of scoring lines (4) transversally situated, - delimiting three rectangular areas
(10) of similar size and one of them smaller (8), this latter presenting an area to
fix a label (8'), and having adhesive lines (9) for facilitating the union of the
different bodies configuring the multiuse letter-envelope - which is the object of
the present invention.
[0017] In one option, the label (8') can be located without being cut, and being only folded
in an opposite sense to the other foldings, the label (8') being coincidental with
the window (11).
[0018] In a marginal and simplified embodiment, the invention can present exclusively two
lateral strips and three horizontal strips located at the lower part of the multiuse
letter-envelope, these - three strings being the most essential ones for their positioning,
which is a fundamental characteristic: in the multiuse letter-envelope.
[0019] It is not considered necessary to extend this description for any expert in the art
to understand the scope of the invention and the advantages derived from it.
[0020] The materials, shape, size and arrangement of the components will be open to variation,
provided that it does not imply any alteration to the essence of the invention.
[0021] The terms under which this specification has been described should be always taken
in an ample and non-limitative sense.
1. An improved multiuse letter-envelope, of these constitutes starting from a continuous
paper sheet, characterized in that it is constituted starting from three glued and
perforated strips located at the lower side, plus two side strips situated vertically,
constituting three rectangular areas (10) of identical size, and one smaller area
(8), wherein is optionally incorporated a folded or detachable label (8'), having
an adhesive in the latter - area, the rectangular areas (10) being separated by scoring
lines (4) transversally situated, one of the areas (10) presenting a zone (11) wherein
a label (8') is incorporated, having at one of the ends three scoring lines (3) and
having at sides glued bands (9).
