(54) Improved sole for footwear

(57) The sole is of the type that is comprised of a bottom part or sole (1) upon which the top part or front part of the sole (2) couples, the sole (1) having a low top perimetric extension (3) that begins from the edge thereof and whose contour (4) is irregular defining fanciful shapes. The front part of the sole (2) has in its side perimetric wall a shoulder (5) made in the bottom part of said perimetric side wall, whose contour (4) adapts exactly to the contour of the top perimetric extension (3) of the sole (1), all so that upon carrying out the assembly on the front part of the sole (2) on the sole (1), one adjusts perfectly with the other, in such a way that the perimetric side wall of both pieces remain perfectly aligned one being flush with the other.

Description

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention consists of an improved sole for footwear of the type comprised of two parts, a bottom part that constitutes the sole itself, and a top part that defines the front part of the sole that forms the support area on which the wearer's foot rests.

[0002] Now then, the present invention has the purpose of facilitating the adjustment of the front part of the sole on the sole, in such a way that the side surface that comprises the perimeters of both parts, upon being assembled one on top of the other, remain perfectly aligned making flush with each other, in such a way that the side contour has a better appearance.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0003] Manufacturing of soles for footwear which are comprised of two parts, a bottom one which comprises the sole itself, and another top one which comprises the front part of the sole that forms the support area where the wearer' foot rests, is conventionally known.

[0004] The connection of both parts, is done in such a way that the side surface that comprises the perimeters of said parts, upon being assembled one on top of the other, define a shoulder defined by the difference of perimeters of both parts, whereby the side contour has an irregular appearance.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0005] In order to overcome the irregularity of the side contour, the bottom part or sole that constitutes the invention, has a conventional shape in which on the top and in correspondence with the edge thereof, includes a low top perimetric extension whose top edge has different undulations, with which in order to achieve after assembly of the front part of the sole on the sole, both parts remain flush at their side surface, a shoulder that goes from the bottom part to about half of the height of said profile, with a contour equivalent to that of the top edge of the top perimetric extension of the sole, has been made on the top surface or sole and in its side or perimetric wall; in other words, it adapts to the different undulations made in the same.

[0006] In this way, upon carrying out the assembly of the front part of the sole on the sole, they adjust together in such a way that the perimetric side wall of both parts remain perfectly aligned being flush with each other. This type of assembly considerably improves the quality of the sole and provides a new and attractive aesthetic appearance, as well as a finish of the side contour without shoulders, different from the ones presently known.

[0007] Hereinafter to provide a better understanding of this specification and forming an integral part of the same, a series of figures wherein the object of the invention has been represented in an illustrative and non-restrictive manner, is attached hereto.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES

[0008] Figure 1 shows an exploded side view of the two parts that comprise the sole object of the invention.

[0009] Figure 2 shows a plan view of the sole object of the invention, wherein the two parts are assembled.

[0010] Figure 3 shows a view according to A-B section of the previous figure.

DESCRIPTION OF AN EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

[0011] A description of the invention based on the above mentioned figures is made hereinafter.

[0012] Just as it was commented on above, the invention consists of an improved sole of the type that is comprised by a bottom part (1) that constitutes the sole itself and by a top part (2) that constitutes the front part of the sole that forms the support area upon which the wearer's foot rests.

[0013] The novelty of this invention basically rests on the coupling area between both parts (1) and (2), in such a way that said coupling is carried out effectively at the same time that it offers an improved finish.

[0014] In order to obtain these objectives, the bottom part or sole (1) of the invention, has a conventional shape in which on the top and in correspondence with its edge includes a low top perimetric extension (3) whose top edge has different undulations (4).

[0015] On its part, the top part or front part of the sole has in its perimetric or side wall, a shoulder (5) that goes from the bottom part up to about half of the height of said profile, with a contour complementary to the top edge (4) of the perimetric extension (3) of the sole (1). Therefore, the contour of the shoulder (5) of the front part of the sole (2) adapts to the different undulations (4) included in the edge of the perimetric extension (3) of the sole (1).

[0016] The thickness of the shoulder (5) of the front part of the sole (2) is equivalent to the thickness of the wall that defines that top extension (3) that starts from the edge of the bottom part or sole (1); all of this placed advantageously, in such a way that the top part or front part of the sole (2), by means of the shoulder (5) made in the side surface thereof, fits perfectly in the bottom part or sole, the contour (4) of the extension (3) remaining in correspondence with the contour of the shoulder (5) made in the perimetric side wall of the top part or front part of the sole (2).

[0017] This type of assembly considerably improves the quality of the sole and provides a new and attractive aesthetic appearance.

Claims

1. Improved sole for footwear of the type that is comprised of a bottom part or sole (1) upon which the top part or front part of the sole (2) couples, the sole (1) having a low top perimetric extension (3) that begins from the edge thereof and whose contour (4) is irregular defining fanciful shapes essential characterized in that the front part of the sole (2) has in its side perimetric wall a shoulder (5) made in the bottom part of said perimetric side wall, whose contour (4) adapts exactly to the contour of the top perimetric extension (3) of the sole (1), all so that upon carrying out the assembly on the front part of the sole (2) on the sole (1), one adjusts perfectly with the other, in such a way that the perimetric side wall of both pieces remain perfectly aligned one being flush with the other.

2. Improved sole for footwear, according to claim 1, characterized in that the contour of the low top perimetric extension of the sole is preferably provided with a series of undulation type recesses and projections with the exception of the toe piece and the heel.
