(54) Arm-attached portable equipment and method for adjusting its band length

(57) To provide arm-attached portable equipment and an arm-attached pulse meter in which the system unit can reliably and quickly be attached and in which the wrist band can easily be removed from the system unit.
In arm-attached pulse meter 1, wrist band 12 is connected in retaining holes 171 through detachable band-connecting axis 14 at the twelve o'clock side of system unit 10. Band retainer 60 is attached to system unit 10 at the six o'clock side. Band retainer 60 holds the middle of wrist band 12 which is folded there. Catch 123, which covers the tip edge of the band, is affixed to band tip 121 using an adhesive, thus forming step difference 127. Therefore, because step difference 127 of wrist band 12 hooks onto band path 611 of band retainer 60, band tip 121 does not accidentally slip off band retainer 60.
