(54) Intake chamber


(57) This invention provides an intake chamber (1) interposed between an intake port connected to each cylinder of a multiple-cylinder engine and an intake pipe. The intake chamber (1) comprises a first chamber (2) integrally formed with a manifold (7) and a second chamber (3) for connecting the intake pipe. Flanges (4 and 5) are disposed at openings of the first and second chambers (2 and 3), respectively, so that they can be joined to each other, and clamp a reinforcing plate (6) between them. This reinforcing plate (6) has a communication hole (6d) which allows communication between the first and second chamber rooms (2a and 3a).
