(54) A device for direct electrostatic printing (DEP) comprising a toner composition with good conductivity


(57) A DEP device is provided that comprises a toner delivery means (101), a back electrode (105), a printhead structure (106), a final image receiving member (109), a conveyer means (108), a means for fixing (110) said toner onto said final image receiving member, and that is characterised in that said toner delivery means contains toner particles with a specific resistivity of at most 109 Ω.cm. It is preferred to use toner particles with a specific resistivity of at most 107 Ω.cm. Optionally the DEP device comprises a back electrode that can be heated.
