(57) A method of controlling N2O emissions from a circulating fluidized bed steam generator (CFB) (2) while concomitantly therewith maintaining acceptable levels of NOx emissions and SOx emissions from the circulating fluidized bed steam generator (CFB) (2), by increasing the temperature of the combustion gases (32) prior to their discharge from cyclone exit (8a) and at the same time lowering their temperature at the furnace exit (4c).
