Abstract

 Toilet with incorporated platform for the feet with height adjusting possibilities, comprising a conventional toilet having at its lower part vertically arranged longitudinal recesses which may be substituted by guides in the internal area thereof passing along the sides of the water tank, guides (1) preferably made of steel and having a U-shape being incorporated in the recesses, or through holes, a support (2) being arranged at the extremity of the steel guides (1), said support being slidable inside the guides (1), the toilet having a height-adjustable platform or tray (3) at its front part.

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present specification refers to a lavatory having an incorporated platform for placing a person's feet with height adjustment and blocking, the evident purpose of which is to be used like a conventional lavatory, destined to allow an user to carry out a normalized movement - of the bowels, having, at the same time, a platform, which qualified to be adjusted in height, facilitates in a restricted sense the user's movement of the bowels in the - event of said user suffers with constipation, so obtaining a softening of this anomaly, and, consequently to facilitate the user's movement of the bowels, since according to the incorporated platform, on which a user - places his/her feet, he/she can flex the legs, modifying the customary position with a most natural position for the human body, so obtaining that the height and inclination of feet, facilitated by the platform, aid to a movement of the bowels in the strict sense.

[0002] In synthesis, the platform is destined to configure a posture thanks to which the muscles of the abdominal packet generates an anal sphincter loosening, so making easy the movement of the bowels.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0003] The present invention will find application in the industry devoted to the manufacture of lavatories and similar sanitation material.

RELATED ART

[0004] The applicant is aware of the existence, at present, of an object that, practically shaped like a reduced - height seat, having a rectangular or similar configuration, presents a upper surface in an angular way, that is to say, one of its major angles is situated at a height which is markedly lower in relation to the opposite side, this configuration being obtained on the lines of the existence of a configuration which determines this arrangement, this object being destined to be used like a supporting link of a user's feet, who, in a conventional manner, is seated down on a board covering the upper surface of a lavatory, so attaining that, according to this positioning, both the intestine and - the anal sphyncter relax, so facilitating the movement of the bowels of those persons suffering with constipation.

[0005] Obviously, the utilization of this element as a complementary way, involves to make use of it in a reliable manner, moving it away once the movement of the bowels - has finished, and placing it again in front of the lavatory when a user having the above mentioned characteristics needs to go to the lavatory in order to carry out a new movement of the bowels.

[0006] In order to facilitate the move operations of the - element to be used, and, at the same time, to have a lavatory having the possibility of being used by persons with constipation or not, an evident solution to this problems would be to have a lavatory fitted, in a general way, with the possibility of having a platform replacing the utilization of the element by the upper surface located at different heights, the applicant being not aware of the existence, at present, of a lavatory fitted with the above mentioned characteristics.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0007] The lavatory having an incorporated platform for placing a person's feet with height adjustment and blocking as proposed by the invention, is configured like an element capable of being used, on the lines of its characteristics, like a conventional lavatory allowing the platform incorpored on which a person's feet are placed, to be used, so relaxing the muscles of the abdominal packet, which involves the anal sphyncter to be relaxed, and making easy the - movement of the bowels of those persons suffering - with constipation.

[0008] In a most definite way, the lavatory having an incorporated platform for placing a person's feet with height adjustment and blocking of the invention, is constituted starting from a practically conventional lavatory, having incorporated a platform which, being placed in front of the lavatory, in a fixed or auxiliary way, allows the movement of the bowels of persons having constipation problems who need to be helped to relax the anal sphincter.

[0009] The invention is constituted starting from a lavatory having an adjustable height platform, having insertions for adjusting and hooking the platform, having an appropiate inclination angle and a horizontal support.

[0010] The platform has appropiate dimensions, in order to allow the user's feet to be adequately positioned,-flexing in consequence his/her feet, and, then, obtaining that the muscles of the abdominal packet be in an appropiate condition to relax the anal sphincter.

[0011] Obviously, if the lavatory's user does not suffer constipation, the lavatory will be use in a conventional manner, the platform remaining in a position leant against the area of the front surface of the lavatory without impairing any way a fully normalized movement of the bowels.

Figure 1 shows a side elevational view of a conventional lavatory, fitted with a platform for placing a user's feet, with height adjustment and blocking, in an elevated position.

Figure 2 shows a plan view of the object illustrated in figure 1.

Figure 3 shows a view similar to that illustrated in figure 2, showing the platform or footrest retracted.

Figure 4 shows, lastly, a perspective view of the object of the invention, with the platform retracted.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0013] From these figures, it can be seen that the lavatory having an incorporated platform for placing on a person's feet with height adjustment and blocking of the invention is constituted starting from a conventional lavatory, on which and at the lower zone, steel guides are incorporated, which adopt a "U" shape (1), having a support sliding inside the guides (1) and relying on a platform or bowl (3), where feet are supported.

[0014] Obviously, the bowl (3) can be retracted towards the lavatory zone, reducing its usage space, and obtaining that this invention has not any application or use when the lavatory (not referenced) will be - used by a person or user who does not suffer with constipation.

[0015] In synthesis, the function of the invention is to adjust the height of the own foot supporting element (3), obtaining a truly user's feetrest, and at the - same time to flex his/her legs, and in consequence, on the lines of the action of the position on the - muscular abdominal packet, to open or loosen the anal sphyncter and obtain the movement of the bowels.

[0016] In a simplified manner, it is to be pointed out - that this lavaotory must obviate the ingestion of - medicines or laxatives, since on the lines of a constant daily use, the operation of the movement of the user' bowels is specifically improved, without any negative repercussion of his/her body.

Claims

1. A lavatory having an incorporated platform for placing a person's feet with height adjustment and blocking, of those constituted like a conventional lavatory, presenting longitudinal slots at the vertical lower portion thereof, characterized in that, on the longitudinal slots, or in their internal zone, guides (1) have been provided, preferably made of steel, and adopting a "U" shape, these steel guides (1) presenting, at an extremity a support (2) sliding inside - the guides (1), and having a platform or bowl (3) at the other extremity.

2. A lavatory having an incorporated platform for placing a person's feet with height adjustment and blocking, according to claim 1, characterized in that the steel guides (1) allow the platform (3) to be placed at several heights, the guides (1) being optionally placed inside the lavatory and passing thru the siphon sides.
