(54) Wardrobe accessories made of vinyl

(57) Fabricated with superposed sheets of plastics materials, the upper sheet being made of vinyl, it enables high-frequency stamping techniques to be used over drawings previously printed on said material by conventional means, providing reliefs on said drawings which are subsequently heat-welded to the inner sheet or sheets.

Description

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The invention being advocated consists in a wardrobe accessory applicable to belts, suspenders, bag pennants, knapsack straps and bag straps, among other items, normally used as wardrobe accessories and composed of two or more superposed plastic material sheets.

[0002] This invention is characteristic in the special construction of the outer layer, made of vinyl material, which enables high-frequency printing techniques to be used over drawings previously printed on said material by conventional means, providing reliefs on said drawings which are subsequently heat-welded to the inner sheet or sheets.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0003] The manufacture of wardrobe accessories for various uses is as old as humanity itself, as revealed by "Ötzi", the so-called frozen primite man recently found in the Alps.

[0004] Vegetal products, leathers, canvases, fabrics and synthetic and elastomeric plastics are the most commonly used materials for belts and similar items.

[0005] On the other hand, the applicant is the owner of invention patent No. 9600803, "Procedure for manufacturing plastic and vinyl trimmings", relating to the production of bas-reliefs through high-frequency techniques and subsequent stamping, as applied to trimmings used as stickers or in the form of pins, etc.

[0006] The applicant is unaware of the existence of belts or other wardrobe accessories fitted on the external side thereof with bas-reliefs made of vinyl, based the possibilities offered by this material for this type of stamping through high-frequency techniques.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0007] The invention that is the object of the present specification relates to wardrobe accessories such as belts and similar items worn by people, made of vinyl material, comprising belts and related items normally and conventionally worn by the user, as well as other articles made conventionally on the basis of superposing two or more sheets of different materials, preferably plastic materials.

[0008] This invention is characteristic in that it uses the inner layer as a supporting pad for the bas-reliefs generated on the special construction of the external layer, made specifically of vinyl material.

[0009] This material, comprising drawings previously and conventionally printed over the face thereof and located on the external side of the belt, allows for subsequent use of high-frequency stamping techniques.

[0010] By means of these techniques, bas-reliefs may be generated on the external side of the belt or similar item, over pre-drawn polychrome designs, coinciding with said drawings and with the different areas occupied by the various colours.

[0011] The external vinyl sheet is then heat-welded to the internal sheet or sheets.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0012] In order to complement the description set forth and to help in providing a better and easier comprehension of the characteristics of the invention, a set of drawings is attached to this specification, being an integral part thereof, wherein the following is represented in an illustrative and non-limiting character:

Figure 1 is a plan view of the belt, prior to fitting a conventional buckle, showing the bas-reliefs on the upper vinyl layer.

Figure 2 is a transverse section of the belt for the purpose of showing said bas-reliefs.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

[0013] In the light of the above description, the present invention relates to a vinyl belt, of the type used as a wardrobe accessory and composed of two or more sheets of superposed materials, said invention being characteristic in that it uses the inner layer (1) as a supporting pad for the bas-reliefs (2) and the outer layer (3), made of vinyl and previously provided with conventionally printed drawings that are then stamped, according to areas (4) of different colours, through high-frequency techniques, the different sheets then being heat-welded.

[0014] This description need not be more extensive in the understanding that an expert on the subject will have sufficient information to understand the scope of the invention and the advantages deriving therefrom, and furthermore to reproduce it.

[0015] It should be understood that, provided the essential nature of the invention is not altered, the materials, shape, size and arrangement of the elements are liable to variation.

[0016] The terms used in this description and the sense thereof must at all times be construed in a non-limiting manner.

Claims

1. Wardrobe accessory made of vinyl, of the type composed of two or more sheets of superposed materials, characterized in that it consists in a multi-layered construction, the various sheets being heat-welded to each other and the inner layer (1) being used as a supporting pad for the bas-reliefs (2) of the outer layer (3), made of vinyl and previously and conventionally printed and stamped through high-frequency techniques, according to areas (4) of various colours in the drawing.
