BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0001] This invention relates to a shoe which helps the wearer to quickly recover from fatigue.
[0002] Living in a complicatedly fabricated society, today's people are put under immense
stress and fatigued both mentally and physically. They are therefore becoming increasingly
conscious of their health. For these people, a huge variety of "health foods" and
"health-enhancing equipment" are now available.
[0003] Health foods are taken orally as meals. Eating is a natural behavior for every living
thing. Eating health foods is therefore nothing unusual and would be no trouble at
all for health-conscious people.
[0004] But using health-enhancing equipment is a different story. For example, people can
live without hanging from a "human hanger" (an iron bar-like health equipment from
which people hang like monkeys to strengthen their arm and upper torso muscles). Using
such health equipment is not only unnecessary to live but in many cases painful and
time-consuming, so that quite a few of those who have bought these equipment soon
stop using them.
[0005] An object of this invention is to provide a health-enhancing shoe which is used by
anyone in a daily life and which can help the user to recover quickly from fatigue
and enhance health.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0006] According to the present invention, there is provided a shoe comprising at least
one magnet at a portion with which a human foot is brought into contact, the portion
comprising two layers, the magnet disposed between the two layers.
[0007] There is also provided a shoe comprising at least one magnet at a portion with which
a human foot is brought into contact, the portion comprising a single layer, the shoe
further comprising a leather or cloth sheet placed on the single-layer portion, the
magnet being disposed between the leather or cloth sheet and the single-layer portion.
[0008] With this arrangement, the magnetic force produced by the magnets embedded in the
shoe according to the present invention will act on the wearer's body through his
or her feet, thus quickening blood stream and helping quick recovery from fatigue.
Anyone wears shoes when they go out. By making it a rule to wear the shoes according
to this invention when one goes out, he or she can unknowingly recover from fatigue.
[0009] Other features and objects of the present invention will become apparent from the
following description made with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which:
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0010]
Fig. 1A is a view of a magnet to be embedded in the shoe according to this invention;
Fig. 1B is a perspective view of a shoe of an embodiment in which are embedded a plurality
of magnets as shown in Fig. 1A; and
Fig. 1C is a sectional view of a magnet embedded in the shoe.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
[0011] Now referring to the drawings, an embodiment of this invention will be described.
The shoe of the embodiment has cylindrical magnets as shown in Fig. 1A embedded therein
so that the magnets bulge the inner lining of the shoe toward the foot of the wearer.
The magnets 1 thus stimulate the foot like finger massaging. If the stimulation by
the cylindrical magnets is so strong as to give the wearer a pain, flat magnets may
be used.
[0012] As shown in Fig. 1B, the magnets 1 are embedded in the area along the edge 3 of the
mouth of the shoe, and in the toe 4. The edge 3 has a two-layer structure comprising
a front layer 6 and a liner 7. With the magnets 1 placed between the front layer and
the liner, they are stitched together as shown in Fig. 1C. Numeral 5 indicates shock-absorbing
sponge.
[0013] The toe 4 also has a two-layer structure comprising a front layer and a liner. The
magnets 1 are embedded by stitching these layers together with the magnets placed
therebetween.
[0014] Magnets may be embedded in any other part of the shoe. In order to embed magnets
e.g. in the insole, a leather or cloth sheet is placed on the inner sole with the
magnet therebetween and the leather or cloth sheet is stitched to the insole.
[0015] The magnetic force produced by these magnets 1 will act on the body of the wearer
through his feet, quickening blood stream and helping quick recovery from fatigue.
In the civilized world, few people go out without wearing shoes. By wearing the shoes
according to this invention when one goes out, he or she will be able to lead a fatigue-free,
healthy life without knowing it.
[0016] In one conventional arrangement, magnets are stuck directly on a body through adhesive
film. In this case, although the magnets themselves are semipermanently usable, they
will soon drop from the body because the adhesive film deteriorates soon. According
to the present invention, the magnets are firmly held between two layers stitched
together. Thus, they can perform their intended function until the shoe itself is
worn out or otherwise becomes useless.
[0017] The magnets 1 may be embedded not only along the edge 3 of the mouth or in the toe
4 but in any other part of the shoe as long as the magnetic force produced by the
magnets is applied to the wearer's foot. The embodiment shows a sneaker 2. But the
present invention is also applicable to any other shoe including men's and women's
dress shoes, boots and work shoes.
[0018] The magnetic force produced by the magnets embedded in the shoe according to the
present invention will act on the wearer's body through his or her feet, thus quickening
blood stream and helping quick recovery from fatigue. Anyone wears shoes when they
go out. By making it a rule to wear the shoes according to this invention when one
goes out, he or she will be able to lead a fatigue-free, healthy life even if he or
she is a slob.
