(57) To automatic system for a false twisting process that can automatically transfer not only full packages but also small packages and that allows packages to be reliably associated with quality data. The present system comprises a means 36 for informing an operator that a yarn has been cut during winding for a package, a means 50 for detecting the size of the package, and a means 56 using the detected size to inform the operator whether the package is to be disposed of or discharged to a transfer system.
