(57) A centrifugal separator comprises a separating drum having an opening at at least one end thereof and a vertical axis, revolving means for revolving the separating drum around a vertical line spaced apart by a predetermined distance from the axis of the separating drum, rotating means for rotating the separating drum about its own axis, and feeder means for supplying the fluid to be treated for separation to the separating drum.
