(57) A panel framing assembly (1) comprising a polygonal, substantially flat panel (3), a plurality of elongate peripheral frame members (5, 7, 9, 11) each having a cross-sectional shape defining a channel (27) in which a perimeter edge of the panel (3) is received, a plurality of corner connectors (19) each engaging a longitudinal end of two adjacent frame members (5, 7, 9, 11), the frame members and corner connectors forming a polygonal frame, the channel (27) defined by each of the frame members (5, 7, 9, 11) including a flexible wall (31) adapted to accommodate and engage the panel (3), whatever the thickness of the panel or its coverings and/or backings.
