Non-slip plate

Abstract

 Invention hereby refers to plates with vague shapes, with the objective of Marking on the Road symbols, principally oriented to zebra crossing and road symbols.
It is placed in situ, applying over the ground a resin compatible with plate's sharper and next placing the plate body with the no-slip buttons towards outside.
Composure and manufacture are made of moulds with shape, in this case, footprint, where synthetic resins are placed and in the protuberances or buttons is placed the non-slip material, principal characteristic of the product.
The product has also a call sign and foresight character, thanks to colour, little projection in their composure and their non-slip component.
It is the only product that complies the double characteristic relating with non-slip required and natural light visibility (European normative 14 EN 1436).

Description

[0001] Invention hereby refers to plates which are sheets, plates or thin plates with vague shapes, depending on aesthetic appraisals, prefabricated, which are placed over the roadway, covering zebra crossing or Markings on the Road symbols, winth the object of making such mark nonslip.

[0002] It is a product similar to a footprint, in an incidental way, with relative height which it is no obstacle to traffic and also to normal approach and pedestrians movement over their line. In such a way that pedestrians don't noticc obstacles when they are walking, with the whole zebra mark levelled, with a rough texture in view of non-slip component but without being an obstacle.

[0005] Finished product has a smooth form at the inside (to be leaned and melted over the ground) and a rough form at the outside, caused by mould cracks to give to finished product some protuberances with buttons shape to give a non-slip and call sign feature, thanks to those uniform protuberances to point out zebra crossing or Road Marking , besides an extensive range colours.

[0006] It is a prefabricated to place over the roadway at the destination place, zebra crossing or symbols, it is placed in situ and everyone can use it to point our an area so it ricedn't skilled staff. So that it is necessary to apply over the ground a sticky resin compatible with plate's shaper, and next place the body over it with non-slip buttons towards outside covering the whole signal to non-slip.

[0007] The finished product will comply with European and Spanish regulations relating to non-slip required.

[0008] Relating to visual field, it will be noticed it is a projection zebra crossing, height as well as colour, so that an extensive range of colours can be formed so pedestrians can notice they are going to enter in amassing area where cars arriving can notice before a little uniform projection over the roadway that when it is formed with different colours, drivers can notice they are in front of a zebra crossing where they are driving in a cross way through the cars traffic, pedestrians, etc.

[0009] It is a product for using over roadways as a FORESIGHT mean thanks to their non-slip component and also CALL SING or signal code of a zebra crossing thanks to colour and little projection in their composure.

[0010] It serves as call sign thanks to a framework of outstanding buttons so they are not an obstacle for traffic and points out pedestrians there is a zebra crossing without seeing it. This is a very important aspect so it is a great advance in the sensc field, connected with disabled persons and blind persons specifically, so thanks to sense of touch they can noticc if there is a zebra crossing, whether they use a stick or whether they use a quide-dog, only walking on the roadway where they will notice an element to quide them.

[0011] Other important function of this product is the non-slip characteristic so slips and slithers will be avoided and also dangerous wounds and traffic problems. Common slips when it is raining and slithers passing through a zebra crossing by bicycles, motorcycles, etc. Which are direct origin of different traffic accidents.

DRAWING EXPLANATORY DESCRIPTION

[0012] Page 7 shows some drawings, specifically 3 figures with a graphic and practical vision of their framework and constitution also uscfulness.

[0013] Figure 1 shows in detail a drawing of NON-SLIP PLATE, and as an example a footprint has been used. You can noticc some protuberances called buttons (point 1) that will have an indicative effect along the whole explasnatory memory, and also non-slip feature so there are the essential material. Point 2 is the base of PLATE formed by synthetic resin that later will be stuck to the ground.

[0014] Figure 2 shows a section of NON-SLIP PLATE where you can notice clearly the effect of the rest buttons in point 1, with a relative height in order to be convenient for traffic. Point 3 is stuck and melted with adherent resin compatible that must be stuck previously over. And the point 2 would be the external side of the platc. This plate produces effects: NON-SLIP and call sign.

[0015] At the end, Figure 3, would show the final result as it's pretended in a zebra-crossing, which is totalled covered by NON-SLIP PLATES in order not to be obtacle in traffic of people and vehicles, remaining zebra-crossing as the desered figure, because the shape will not change its usefulness, and also traffic-signals can be covered to get the usefulness of NON-SLIP and call sign fort because of its colour and protuberance.

Claims

1. NON-SLIP PLATE, to place in zebra-crossing and markings on the road distinguished to be composed by synthetic resin and arid NON-SLIP. Using for its placing, previously in the road, synthetic adherent resin, compatible with the plate components, in which it's placed.

2. NON-SLIP PREFABRICATED PLATE, as the first claim distinguished to have a footprint shape or something similar, changing the plate shape depending on the situation remaining unaslterable the structured and composition of the product.

3. NON-SLIP PLATE, as it's said in first and sccond claim, distinguished forts external which it's composed by protuberances with buttons shape that covers with homogeneity the footprint surface, with a relative height in order to get a singnal with protuberances, but without any obstacle because of its unifomity.
In these buttons it's placed the non-slip material making non-slip to this product and also pemits it to get indicative character because of its colour and protuberances which cause a road elevation.
