(54) Sensor installation structure for vehicles


(57) A sensor installation structure and method for a potentiometer (21) located on the exterior of a fork lift. A sensor cover (24) is fixed to a bracket (12) to protect the potentiometer (21). The cover (24) has an opening (24a, 30) permitting the passage of lead wires (27). A fluid sealant is charged between the cover (24) and the potentiometer (21) to seal the potentiometer (21).
