(57) The invention refers to new compounds of the formula R6R7CFSO2R8, wherein R6 is perfluoroalkyl, perfluoroalkyl containing one or more ether oxygen atoms, perfluoroalkoxy or perfluoroalkoxy containing one or more ether oxygen atoms, R7 is perfluoroalkyl or perfluoroalkyl containing one or more ether oxygen atoms, and R8 is perfluoroalkyl. The compounds are useful as initiators for the copolymerization of tetrafluoroethylene and hexafluoropropylene to yield amorphous polymers.
