(54)	Methods of completing and producing a subterranean well and associated apparatus

(57) A method of completing a subterranean well having intersecting first and second wellbores, and a deflection surface positioned proximate the intersection of the first and second wellbores, the method comprising the steps of: deflecting a first tubular string (52), which includes a releasable deflection device (62), off of the deflection surface from the first wellbore to the second wellbore; and releasing the deflection device for displacement relative to the remainder of the first tubular string.
Apparatus is also disclosed.
