Bath with a side access opening equipped with a watertight flap |
(57) To facilitate access, the bath is equiped either with a single door hinged horizontally
or vertically, or a double door hinged horizontally, or a horizontally or vertically
sliding door.

[0001] Description of the industrial invention which is called "bath with a side access
opening equipped with a watertight flap" of Mr LANDI Antonio resident in via Duca
degli Abruzzi, 115 Ladispoli (RM) ITALY and of Mr SECHI Giuseppe resident in via XX
Settembre, 83 Monte Argentario (GR) ITALY.
[0002] The present invenction has substantially modified the structure of a simple bath,
givin opportunity to people with physical problems (handicap, obese and elderly people)
to easily access the bath.
[0003] A prime characteristic of the invention consist of an access flap which has an opening
of 180° max using appropiate hinges.
[0004] A second characteristic of the invenction consists of a double shutter with a single
handle to facilitate the closing of the flap of entrance.
[0005] A third characteristic of the invenction is to have a gasket between the flap and
the structure of the bath to keep it watertight.
[0006] The opening flap can be positioned in any one of the four sides of the bath depending
on the necessity of the room where the bath is installed.
[0007] The bath can be equiped with a shower stall or reclinable seat so that it can be
used in double function (bath-shower) in practice the details of execution, the dimensions,
the materials, the shape and similar of the bath can, however, be changed without
changing the original invenction or exiting the property of the present industrial
monopoly.
[0008] The bath can therefore have either an opening of a door horizontaly accesable by
180° or by 180° verticaly or two horizontal opening doors of 180° or an horizontal
side sliding door and last of all a vertically (break water) sliding door lime the
one in the enclosed designes.
