(57) According to the present invention, each program managed with U-TOC is divided into a plurality of record units. A cue signal is recorded to each of the record units. An audio signal of a word or sentence is recorded to each record unit. With the cue signal, programs that exceeds the maximum number managed with U-TOC can be handled. Thus, an audio signal of a word or sentence can be accessed and reproduced.
